How to Make a Pompon
From cardboard cut two circles 1/2" larger in diameter than desired size of pompon. In center of each circle cut or punch a 1/2" hole. Hold the two circles together and thread two long strands of yarn into a yarn needle. Going from outer edge to center of circles, wrap yarn around circles until they are full, adding new yarn as needed. With sharp scissors, cut yarn around outer edge of circles. Cut a piece of yarn 6" long and insert between circles, draw up tightly and knot. Remove cardboard circles, rub pompon in your palms to fluff, trim to desired size.
