Gauge
With larger needle in rib pat,
20 1/2 sts = 4” with larger needle in rib patt
24 rows = 4” with larger needle in rib patt

Instructions
With MC and smaller needle, CO 220 sts; do not join, work back and forth in rows.

Rows 1 through 4: Knit
Row 5: Knit, increasing 30 sts evenly spaced across row: 250 sts.
Body
Note: Sl all sl sts as to purl.
Change to larger needle.
Row 1: (right side). Kl, *Kl, P1; rep from * to last st, K1.
Rows 2 and 3: Rep Row 1.
Row 4: K1, *Pl, PW; rep from * to last st, K1.
Row 5: With A, K1, *yb, sl 1 (dropping extra lp),
K1; rep from * to last st, K1.
Row 6: K1, *Pl, YO, sl 1; rep from * to last st, Kl.

Rows 2 through 5: Knit. At end of last row, BO as to knit. Weave in all yarn ends.
Side Edgings
With right side of work facing, with smaller needle and MC, pick up and knit 234 sts along one side edge. Knit 4 more rows,
BO as to knit.
Rep edging on opposite side.
Fringe
Following Fringe instructions on page ___ cut 16” lengths of yarn in all colors. Use 7 strands of one color in each knot; tie knots across each CO and BO edge, in following color sequence: *A, B, C, D, MC; rep from * across, trim fringe evenly.
